Sarah King

Sarah has been a councillor for our area since 2014.  Sarah has campaigned for much needed investment into our council homes and we now have over 95% of our council homes meeting the warm, dry, safe standard. She has helped residents work with the Council on the design of new council homes on the East Dulwich and Champion Hill estates.  Half of these new council homes are ringfenced for local people in need and to help them keep their children in local schools.

Sarah took part in the successful campaign to extend the 42 bus to Sainsbury’s in East Dulwich and for it to become a double decker service and to improve safety along the Green Dale cycle and footpath by introducing CCTV and new lighting. These campaigns have delivered and are making a huge difference to local residents.

Sarah has also been a steadfast campaigner in support of Dulwich Hamlet Football Club and has stood shoulder to shoulder with supporters to fight to save the club and the stadium. Sarah believes that Greendale open space should be protected and invested in to make it a real asset for the local community.
