Dulwich Hill

Maggie Browning

Maggie Browning is an experienced local campaigner and activist. Maggie is a secondary school teacher who has experienced first hand the devastating Tory cuts to school budgets.

As a private renter in Southwark, she believes more can be done to reform the private rented sector across the capital.

She is proud that Southwark Labour has invested in green spaces like Peckham Rye and managed to keep our streets clean, but thinks more needs to be done to tackle dog mess in our local area.

Maggie will continue to form links with local parents groups and fight for more high quality secondary school places for our area.

John Hartley

Jon Hartley has been a councillor for 20 years, representing the southern part of East Dulwich since 2014.

Jon has a strong interest in education and has been a member of the council's Education Scrutiny Committee for the last four years. He is particularly proud of Southwark Labour's track record of building new council homes for local people at affordable rents.

Jon has been a determined campaigner for improved road safety measures and is delighted to have helped in the successful fight for anew pedestrian crossing at the junction of Lordship Lane and Dulwich Common - due to be built this coming financial year.

Jon is also passionate about improving air quality in the East Dulwich area, particularly close to schools.
