Catherine Rose

Catherine was elected as a Southwark borough councillor for College ward in 2016. 

She is a member of Southwark's Education and Children's Service Scrutiny Commitee and the council's Overview and Scrutiny Commitee.

She was spokesperson for the original Southwark SPACE campaign,which helped secure a new secondary school in Southwark. She also served as Chair of a primary school PTFA for over two years. She is now a school governor.

Catherine is also a Trustee of a national education and teaching charity, the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education (CLPE) and is their Operations Committee Chair.Catherine and her son are huge Dulwich Hamlet Football Club fans.


Andy Simmons

Councillor Andy Simmons has represented our area for 8 years since being elected in 2010 alongside Helen Hayes, who is now our local Member of Parliament.

Andy has a particular interest in housing, health, road safety and education, having previously been Chair of Governors at a local primary school.

Andy is a hospital scientist by training and spent 20 years working at King's College Hospital and the Maudsley. He currently works as a research manager and provides policy advice to our local MP Helen Hayes.

He lives locally in Dulwich with hisfamily where his children attend localschools.
