London Bridge and West Bermondsey

Ed Mcdonagh

As a lifelong south Londoner with family in the area I am honoured to be the Labour council candidate for London Bridge and West Bermondsey and pledge to work tirelessly for the local community. I have highly applicable experience at the Citizens Advice Bureau where I helped people deal with housing, debt and other issues they were facing. I currently work for an education charity and so have a particular interest in engaging young people, improving opportunities for them locally.

John Batteson

As someone who lives in Bermondsey, I believe we can do more reduce crime and make our area safer.

I work for a children’s charity so I understand the importance of young people having opportunities to succeed. I promise to build closer relationships with the local community so that we reduce anti-social behaviour.

As your councillor I will make sure you are consulted so you are the benefactors of local regeneration.

I am ready to take on the responsibility of being your councillor and would welcome your support on 14th June.

Julie Eyles

Julie has lived locally for many years on a Southwark Council estate, with very strong links and family heritage to the area.

Julie is a community activist and a committee member of a local Tenant's and Residents Association.  Julie is a key member of a great team of residents which has rejuvenated the local TRA. This includes successful applications for upgrade of playground, security and anti-pollution planting around the estates.

If elected Julie will continue to fight to make London Bridge and West Bermondsey a safer and healthier place where all have somewhere to live that is decent and affordable.
