Peckham Rye

Renata Hamvas
Renata lives on Linden Grove, has been a Labour councillor since 2010 and a community activist for over a decade. She is a mother of three children and has campaigned to ensure great facilities such as the Peckham Rye Adventure Playground stay open in the face of government cuts and on environmental matters. She has been working hard to secure more and improved train services for Nunhead Station. As Chair of Licensing she ensures that we have a vibrant night-time economy but that the council has zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour and noise nuisance.

Victoria Mills

Victoria lives on Ivydale Road and has been a Labour councillor since 2010. Her two children attend Ivydale School and as Cabinet Member for Children and Schools she led the £200 million investment in Southwark schools that has provided more local school places and improved learning and play facilities across the borough. She has fought to keep all of Southwark’s Children’s Centres open and introduced schemes that mean Foster Carers and Care Leavers are now exempt from paying council tax.

Victoria is now the Cabinet Member for Finance, Performance, and Brexit.
