South Bermondsey


Leo Pollak


Since being elected for South Bermondsey in 2014 Councillor Leo Pollak has worked tirelessly to build new skills development opportunities in the area, helping to establish the Blue Bermondsey BID, Bermondsey Community Kitchen and Big Local Works, as well as the pioneering community-led lettings strategy for the Blue. He is also a trustee for Millwall For All Trust.  

On the council, he has served as a deputy cabinet member as well as a planning committee chair, and works by day as a housing policy manager for a local authority in east London.   


Sunny Lambe

Sunny is a community leader and business management consultant with over 25 years’ experience in enterprise support, youth development, including employment and self-employment support. He has lived in Southwark for over 30 years. He has served as local schools and college governor for several years. He has also worked on a significant number of community development initiatives, and very passionate about equality, fairness and social justice. He was elected a Labour Councillor for South Bermondsey Ward since May 2014.


Leanne Werner

Leanne has spent the past decade working in the charity sector, advocating for change through fundraising and community projects across areas such as human rights, child welfare, health, the environment and international development. 

She has campaigned on issues such as cuts to education and violence against women and girls.
If elected, Leanne will fight to make South Bermondsey a safer, greener place where everyone has somewhere decent and affordable to live.
