Born in Islington, North London to parents from Antigua, West Indies, Cleo believes in aspiration and opportunity inspired by her mother and father who arrived in the UK with already established strongly held Labour principles and values. Cleo has always had a keen interest in faith, equality, community cohesion and racial justice issues. Cleo’s strong Christian belief and worship is rooted in the Church of England where she currently serves as the Lay chair of Camberwell Deanery Synod and lay member of the Southwark Diocesan Synod.
Cleo is honoured to serve as a Labour Councillor for Peckham Ward. During the past four years she has campaigned to improve the 343 bus, built relationships between the council and residents and helped change the media perception of Peckham. She has used her experience as a teacher to support young people into employment and promoted Peckham as centre of excellence for the arts.

Barrie has lived in Peckham all his life. He attended, Peckham Park Primary School, Camelot Primary School and Walworth Comprehensive School. Since being elected to the Council in 1995 Barrie has worked hard for the people of Peckham. He is now a Cabinet Member with responsibility for Communities and Safety.

Johnson was born and raised in Peckham. An active member of his local community, his strong commitment to residents led him to pioneer a food bank supporting families across Peckham and Camberwell. Johnson is the Cabinet Member for Business, Culture and Social Regeneration.
